The first of Steven Covey's 7 habits has to do with your own attitude.
Habit 1 - Be proactive According to Steven Covey, being proactive is the most important success factor for success. Be initiative-rich and dare to take responsibility. This is the first and most important of Steven Covey's 7 habits.
Habit 2 - Start with a goal Discover and describe your own character traits and goals in life. Consider the ideal characteristics for the different roles and relationships that you enter into in your life. Write a mission statement.
Habit 3 - Set priorities Set priorities and plan what you will do on a weekly basis. Do not set your priorities based on what needs to be done first, but on importance.

Habit 4 - Think in Win-Win Do not only pursue your own goal, but also consider what benefits others. In the long run, you will benefit more from a goal that benefits more people in your area than just you.
Habit 5 - Try to understand others before you are understood First listen carefully to what others have to say. According to Steven Covey, people will listen to you sooner. This creates a positive atmosphere in which problems are solved more easily.
Habit 6 – Synergize Use the different good qualities of your team members. With positive teamwork you achieve higher goals than you could achieve on your own.
