With the glorious return of Twenty One Pilots, comes a massive backstory surrounding the release of their upcoming record “Trench”. The album is set to drop on the 5th of October via Fueled By Ramen.

So far, the boys have released two new tracks: “Jumpsuit” and “Nico And The Niners”, who are both accompanied by stellar music videos. With the release of the music video for NATN was revealed that both “Jumpsuit” and “Nico And The Niners” are part of a 3-part story, with a third part to be revealed.

Given the content of the music videos, the chronological order of the two music videos could go either way, but luckily, we have Reel Bear Media to help us out!

In two tweets, he shared that “Jumpsuit” was the first in the 3-part story, meaning that Tyler Joseph attempted to escape DEMA, however ended up back in the city.

The second part is the music video for “Nico And The Niners”, in which you can see Tyler Joseph escape Dema with the assistance of Josh Dun.

A third, yet to be announced, track and accompanying music video will be the conclusion of the story and we are beyond stoked to see how this pans out!

The timeline of both videos has also been revealed by Reel Bear Media.
Both “Jumpsuit” and “Nico And The Niners” happened a couple of months after “Heavydirtysoul” happened. The jacket in the trunk you see Tyler Joseph pick up at the end of the “Jumpsuit” music video apparently happens a couple of weeks before the music videos take place.

So just to clarify, the order:

1. “Heavydirtysoul” music video
*few months go by*
2. Tyler Joseph finds jacket in trunk of the HDS car
*few weeks go by*
3. Jumpsuit music video
4. Nico And The Niners music video

*timespan not revealed yet*
5. New track/new music video – to be announced

Let’s get excited for that third part to drop!
