Avril Lavigne Gives Big Update On New Album Progression

Avril Lavigne was rumoured to release a new record last year, but as 2017 has come and gone, we have not received new Lavigne music just yet.

Now, almost halfway through 2018, Avril Lavigne has offered a big update on the progress of her new record. She shared in a recent interview that the record will be done within two weeks, and that we can expect quite the powerful record.

She shared the following:
“I’ve been writing songs that are really just powerful and true and honest and sincere and I think people will really be able to relate to it. I’ve gone through a lot of personal stuff in the past two years, and so I’ve really drawn from that. I mean, I always do, but this album is so different.”
