EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE: Dream Drop Kick Off New Era With New Track 'Point The Blame'

After a succesful run on their self-titled debut EP, Dream Drop are back with a bang.
The guys have been through a lot since the release of 'Dream Drop', but came out stronger on the other side with a brand new track, marking the beginning of an exciting new era for the band.

Their brand new single carries the title 'Point The Blame' and comes with a music video. A music video that we have the absolute honour to premiere to you guys!

As stated in the past, Dream Drop are influenced by a great variety of bands, including the likes of Deftones, Bring Me The Horizon and Linkin Park. While they're heavily influenced by those bands, they have a refreshing new sound, which is once again proven in the new track 'Point The Blame'.

Speaking to frontman Joar Westerlund about the track, he shared the following about the lyrical content of the brand new release:
"The track is a song about people who can't control themselves and see that they are the problem. A behaviour most often found in addicts. It's also at the same time saying that I am just like you except I am aware of myself. So if you point the blame to me you're basically blaming yourself too, you just can't see it."

Joar also spoke out about the exciting times ahead:
"The new song and direction definitely indicates that this is the beginning of a new era. We have in my opinion improved alot since the last release and are aiming high with this one. Going forward you can expect a more thorough sound but also alot more diversity in styles."

The new track 'Point The Blame' will be featured on Dream Drop's second EP, which will carry the title 'Color In Gray'. The music video for the new track 'Point The Blame' was shot accordingly to fit the theme of this upcoming EP.

In Joar's words:
"The video is lit with a specific color because that's the color it was given when we came up with the concept of our upcoming EP "Color in Gray". It also shows you different people with different addictions to get the subject across."

We feel like we've been talking forever... please, without further ado, check out Dream Drop's brand new banger of a track 'Point The Blame' below!
