What we know for certain right now is that The 1975 are busy cooped up in the studio, working on their latest album, 'Music For Cars'. Which is the highly anticipated follow up to 2016's 'I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It'.

Yesterday, the band's lead singer, Matt Healy posted an update onto Instagram, including what could potentially be a working title for a new song (currently going by 'jesus christ 2005 god bless america'). Along with this, the post featured a possible run time for the album- totalling 2 hours and 13 minutes.

You can have a look at the post here

Though there's no official release date for the album as of yet, apart from a vague date in 2018, we're excited about this announcement and for the themes that their new album will explore!
