Have You Heard This Unreleased Twenty One Pilots Track?

Twenty One Pilots have made many tracks in the days they’ve been a band (and before that).
Of course, not all the songs they write end up on a record.
Sometimes the band doesn’t think the song is good enough, sometimes the song doesn’t quite fit in with the theme or sound of a particular album.
The song ends up all alone, without any release.
Sometimes, these songs do make their way to the internet.
This can happen because of the band, but also because of a fan discovered it somewhere. (sometimes in a shady way)

One of those songs is ‘Two’, which surfaced in 2011 when it was used as one of their newsletter tracks.
This song is supposedly about how Tyler Joseph and Joshua Dun were having doubts about being able to put a whole show on for the crowd as they are only the two of them.

They were only with ‘two’ and it made them feel like the band’s future was very unsure.
The lyrics of the song consists of one sentence only:
“Be gone, you see rain,”
This lyric is aimed towards Nick Thomas, who up and left the band because he wasn’t sure this band could hold a real future and offer him some sustain.

The track ‘Two’ was about a very scary and doubtful time for the boys.

If only they knew back then where they’d be now, right?
