Mayday Parade surprisingly released a new EP, 7". The EP includes two new versions of songs from their album, Sunnyland: an acoustic “It’s Hard To Be Religious When Certain People Are Never Incinerated By Bolts Of Lightning” and their B-side track “Turn My Back.”

Fans will have an epic time this fall because, alongside the EP, the band will be touring. Called the "Forever Emo" tour, it’s an ode to the band’s favorite pop-punk songs as well as Mayday Parade’s original music.

Frontman Derek Sanders said “Forever Emo this Fall will be a concert featuring Mayday Parade performing songs live; mostly covers with a few originals as well. We’ve also partnered with local emo night DJs to add to the event in each city. There has been a lot of effort put into learning how to perform these songs well, and we’re gonna play them loud, with heart and passion."

According to AltPress, the band has more in store. Between concert dates, Mayday Parade have also scheduled 10th anniversary shows for their album "Anywhere But Here" where the entire tracklist will be played.
