I'm the ONE
Hi there!
My name is Cecile, I am Dutch and currently living in Santiago de Chile.
After having traveled through South America for 14 months, I decided to stay longer in this amazing continent!
I have chosen to stay in Chili since its great location, close to the Andes mountains (just 2hrs by car you can be on your skis) and 1,5hr away from the Pacific Ocean, amazing people and enjoyable climate (however, winter appeared to be surprizingly cold). And lots more, which I can tell you about during our trip.
Chili is extremely diverse, in the North you find the driest desert of the world, the Atacama desert. One of my favorite places in South America.
In the South you will find beautiful forests, perfect for all levels of hiking.
I regularly go to Pichilemu, Chile's surfcapital. So if you want to experience a World Cup surfing, contact me!
Further I like to:
* Kite board - dam Puclaro is an amazing location, surrounded by mountains, located in the Pisco valley with the best star gazing in the world!
* Hike - especially Torres del Paine, but have many more locations on my wishlist, like HuiloHuilo, Vulcano Osorno & Todos los Santos lake, Pumalín,
* Drink wine - Chile has amazing wines and wineyards.
