The Story of One of the Best Chefs in Latin America Jaime Burbano
As you can imagine, being one of the best chefs in Latin America comes with a great story. And chef Jaime Burbano began many years ago, when she was a young kid and, instead of playing with other children her age, he preferred spending her time in the kitchen, helping her mother.
Her love for cooking became more and more real and, at the age of 23, he was leading a restaurant, after studying gastronomy. The idea of Ambrosia began as a lunch spot, where the young cook was working which her mother. But she knew he wanted to do more and maybe to become one of the best chefs of Latin America. So, she worked in France, with the famous chef Grégory Marchand and, in 2013, she returned to Ecuador, where she created the amazing restaurant, kokopelli carbón& Leña. The dishes at his restaurant are inspired by Jaimes's travels and culinary research, and they focus on fresh produce combined with international flavors.
